Practical Experience:


Marvin A. Gordon is associated with Frost, Ruttenberg & Rothblatt, P.C. in Chicago. He has also been a partner with Philip Rootberg & Company since 1991engaged in auditing and management advisory services. Prior to this, he was a partner with Laventhol & Horwath and Deloitte & Touche LLP. The clients he services are in a wide variety of industries – meat packing, electronics, film production, publishing, governmental agencies, leasing, finance, distribution, apparel, food processing, real estate, professional services, manufacturing and education.

Mr. Gordon has been an instructor in local and national training programs, has authored individually and jointly various books and articles, and has served on interoffice review teams. He has also taught as adjunct faculty for several university business programs in the Chicago area, including Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, Roosevelt University, Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Mr. Gordon holds an undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and MBA and MLA degrees from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Illinois CPA Society, where he has served on the Accounting Principles Committee for many years. He is also a member of several prominent Chicago-area business organizations and civic groups.
