The Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation is the culmination of a certification process in which candidates are required to demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of technical analysis of the financial markets. It is made up of an educational component, an experience requirement, an ethics requirement, and a membership requirement. This year, the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP®), which administers the exam, has transitioned the program to a multi-year process from a single exam and NYIF has developed Part I and Part II prep courses to supplement your studies and help prepare you for the exams.
