New York Institute of Finance and Columbia Center for Technology Management Team Up to Increase Executive Understanding of Technology

Alumni, mentors to benefit from NYIF and Execsense products

NEW YORK The New York Institute of Finance (NYIF), one of America’s oldest financial education providers, today announced a strategic alliance with the Columbia Center for Technology Management (CTM) to provide teaching materials through NYIF’s electronic platforms.

Subscribers to NYIF’s subscription-based learning models will be able to access selections from events, lectures and other materials from CTM’s industry-leading technology-management professors and faculty. CTM materials will also be available to NYIF’s Execsense app, which is a knowledge network for career-driven thought leaders and executives. CTM’s alumni and mentor network will also be able to access Execsense subscription services.

The new relationship is designed to increase the reach of CTM education through materials that are available anywhere at any time on execsense.com. It comes at a time when there is an accelerating need for business leaders across different disciplines to understand and implement technology as part of a larger management strategy.

“Our mission is to increase awareness and competence among both the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow around technology,” said Dr. Arthur Langer, Director of CTM. “New York Institute of Finance is giving us the very latest tools in education to communicate our message to the right people in the way they learn today.”

Lee Arthur, Managing Director of New York Institute of Finance & Execsense, said the relationship is in line with the company’s longstanding commitment to finding subject matter experts to design and teach their courses.

“Columbia is known around the world for their business education and technology leadership. Our students will gain tremendously by having ongoing access to the thoughts, ideas and expertise of the senior leadership at the Columbia Center for Technology Management.”

NYIF currently delivers training for financial services and related industries, including courses on investment banking, securities, cybersecurity, regulation and compliance.
