Bernie is an economist whose areas of expertise include forecasting, assessing geopolitical and economic threats and analyzing economic indicators. Widely recognized for his forecasting accuracy, his economic and geopolitical projections have been frequently cited in major business and general interest publications and on television.

CURRENT POSITION

He is chief global economist at The Economic Outlook Group, which specializes in economic analysis, forecasting and geopolitical risk assessment. The firm's principal goal is to anticipate economic events and identify potential domestic and international risks that can significantly alter the business and financial climate.

PAST POSITIONS

He was an award-winning senior economics reporter for TIME magazine, where he covered the White House, Federal Reserve and Wall Street; an economist at the European American Bank, where he monitored the global economy and developed forecasts; and an analyst with the Council on Foreign Relations. Bernie lectured on economics at New York University, Duke University and Mercer County College. He has been a commentator on public television's Nightly Business Report.
