Global Economic Suite

The Global Economics Suite provides a conceptual framework for understanding the mechanisms through which markets reflect and respond to developments in the real economy. The changes in the financial economy over the past year will be discussed along with business cycles and their relationship to financial market cycles, as well as macroeconomics concepts used to quantify and evaluate economic activity.

Additionally, this course explores the theory and practice of pricing financial assets and focuses on how asset prices reflect future expectations and how the market reacts to the release of new information and how economic indicators can be used to interpret future activity. This course will benefit newcomers to the financial services industry, traders, sales office staff, corporate analysts and cash/money managers.

The suite agenda includes: Overview of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economic Indicators, Introduction to Game Theory and Global issues in Trade and Finance.
