Taken as a suite, this five-day program provides students with the concepts and theories of mergers and acquisitions, as well as the structuring of a deal through hands-on examination of the key components of a transaction. In addition, the Free Cash Flow module covers cash flow drivers, cost of capital, capital budgeting, and acquisition analysis using free cash flow - all important issues in merger and acquisition activity. The final day covers accounting topics specific to business combinations often excluded in general financial accounting courses.
