Fund Selection and Analysis for Professionals - WorkshopThis optional one-day workshop will include: Hands on approach to creating and calculating some key performance measurement criteria; evaluating funds with case studies; applying all the knowledge of the prior two days to evaluate which funds would be suitable for various types of clients. | Investors interested in selecting and evaluating funds, including specialists in portfolio management, marketing, regulatory, auditing, plan sponsor and fund of funds. This course is open to students who have taken the regular fund course. |

Students will be able to:- Calculate performance measurement with exercises
- Examine the types of questions a gatekeeper would ask before placing client assets in a fund
- Emphasis will be placed on reading between the lines
- Looking beneath reported and expected performance results
- Examining potential tricks to dress up performance
- Students can bring up issues that they may experience on the job
- Examine the trade-offs between various performance measures
- There will be role-play in the types of questions a gatekeeper/consultant would ask before placing client assets in a fund
