Aaron Gould is an independent consultant specializing in Financial Risk Management, Derivatives, Quantitative Analysis and FAS 133 Compliance. Mr. Gould has seven years of experience in Corporate Treasury, managing interest rate, foreign exchange and commodity risks. He negotiated, structured and executed derivative transactions and employed Value-at-Risk, Earnings-at-Risk and other statistical risk management techniques. Mr. Gould also managed the financial and quantitative aspects of FAS 133 compliance.
Mr. Gould was the Manager of Financial Risk at Molson Coors Brewing Company where his primary responsibility was the management of commodity and foreign exchange risks. Mr. Gould structured and executed commodity swaps and forwards, FX forwards and cross-currency swaps in the management of these risks and regularly reported risk management results to senior management and the Risk Management Committee.
Prior to Molson Coors, Mr. Gould was the Manager of Derivatives & Quantitative Analysis in Corporate Treasury at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) where his primary responsibility was managing interest rate risk. Mr. Gould actively managed PSEGs fixed vs. floating debt mix by executing and unwinding interest rate swaps. Mr. Gould structured and executed interest rate swaps & options and Treasury derivatives. At PSEG, Mr. Gould played a key role in the adoption of FAS 133.
Prior to working in corporate treasury, Mr. Gould spent five years as a consultant advising corporate clients in the United States, Australia and Europe on the acquisition and divestiture of energy industry assets and the development of custom commodity risk management solutions.
Mr. Gould began his career at Salomon Brothers as an analyst. He worked in Equity Portfolio Analysis & Derivatives Research, conducting financial analysis and research for institutional clients including structuring foreign exchange hedging solutions for global equity portfolios.
