Practical Experience:
Richard Clements specializes in the fixed income markets with a focus on structured finance, transactional systems, credit and cash management.
His experience covers fixed income analysis, transactions, as well as global macro-economic analysis including: fixed income trading, creating transactional systems and money markets.
Richard Clements is currently a Vice President of the Enterprise Division at Reuters LLC where he is responsible for bringing confidence back to the structured finance marketplace by creating greater transparency with better analytics. He is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with regulators, rating agencies, originators, monoline insurance companies as well as buy side and sell side institutions in order for Reuters to create next generation fixed income applications, including data base content and analytics. Prior to Reuters, he created the one of the first transactional systems for money markets and money market mutual funds at Global Liquid Markets, a company he founded and ran, and at FinancialOxygen where he was responsible for working with Money Center institutions, as well as the largest global asset managers. Prior to FinancialOxygen, Clements was a fixed income trader at Banc of America Investment Services Inc.
