Laura Smith Dunaief

Practical Experience:


Laura Smith Dunaief is a New York Institute of Finance faculty member specializing in U.S. Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Communications. Ms. Smith Dunaief has twenty years of experience managing projects, sales, client services and training within the financial services industry. Most recently, Ms. Smith Dunaief was a Director for FT Knowledge, working with clients on learning strategy and program development.

Prior to that, she was a Director of Training and Development for Schwab Capital Markets, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. In this role, she was responsible for directing training strategy development and implementation for the company’s trading organization. Key elements of this strategy included management development, product and service training, and professional skill development.

Prior to managing the training organization, she held roles as diverse as Director of Customer Service Initiatives and Manager of Correspondent Execution Services, both for Schwab Capital Markets, and Vice President and Branch Manager of a Boston-area retail brokerage office for Charles Schwab.
