Through the years, New York Institute of Finance has grown to be a premier financial training company. We opened our Chicago office in April of 2008. As one of the largest metropolitan areas in the USA, Chicago is an excellent location for NYIF. With a strong and growing financial sector and a large base of corporations throughout the area, Chicago serves as our regional financial training capital for the Midwest. Our Chicago office is located at 200 W. Adams Street, in the heart of the financial district.

	On Wednesday, June 10th we hosted a special networking event at the exclusive Metropolitan Club of Chicago, located on the 66th floor of the Sears Tower.
A wonderful evening saw over 60 of Chicago's top finance & training community gather for an informal evening over drinks and canapes. Several guests also won either a FREE elearning course or a bestselling finance book from NYIF in the prize draw.

ELECTRONIC TRADING
September 15, 17, 22, 24 (4 evenings)

This course is intended to give participants the basic skills required to trade futures contracts electronically. Individuals with previous knowledge of futures will gain from the hands-on approach utilized in this course. Everyone will have the opportunity to operate an electronic trading platform identical to platforms used by professional futures traders and trade in a ''live'' environment based on contracts traded at the Chicago Board of Trade. This course is intended for anyone interested in trading commodities, including newcomers to the future market, trading floor personnel and clerks. No advance preparation is required, but some prior knowledge or exposure to the futures markets is recommended.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Successfully operate an electronic trading platform
Manage and create trading positions
Counterbalance trades
Enter and exit spread positions
Understand the basics of the futures industry and terminology

Instructor: Angelo Vignola :
Angelo P. Vignola is an independent trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, where he has traded futures, derivatives, and arbitrage positions for over 12 years. Previously held positions include independent equity /index trader, Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and portfolio manager at Old Kent Bank where he was responsible for $350 million dollars of pension money. He has also taught college level courses in futures, options, and portfolio management. His extensive knowledge in trading equities, futures, options and portfolio management allows him to draw from his professional experiences to combine theory and practical learning into the classroom.
